Care & Maintenance

Biothane harnesses require minimal care. Wipe down with a damp cloth after every drive to remove sweat, mud, and debris. A mild soap solution removes heavier soiling. No conditioning or oiling is needed — biothane does not absorb moisture or crack. Store in a dry area away from direct sunlight.

Leather harnesses require regular conditioning. Clean with a damp cloth after each use and apply a quality leather conditioner every 2–4 weeks depending on use frequency. Inspect traces, billets, and stitching points before every drive. Dry leather away from direct heat — do not use a radiator or heater.

Check all metal fittings, buckles, and quick hitch hardware before every use regardless of material. A loose or worn fitting is a safety issue. Replace any worn parts before driving.
